Discovery Lab has developed a number of original exhibitions that can be seamlessly integrated into your museum or science center. All Discovery Lab experiences are designed with priority given to critical process skill development—not only will your guests explore engaging topics, they will also be developing their critical thinking, collaboration, communication, innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Exhibits can be leased or purchased by individual experiences or as a complete exhibition. For cost, availability, and additional information, please contact Sarah at ssadler@tulsachildrensmuseum.org.

Math MusicMath + Music encourages visitors to explore the patterns and mathematics in music and instruments. Visitors not only listen to, create, and perform music, they see the mathematics under the sounds, melodies, and rhythms we hear. Through open-ended, hands-on, full body experiences, visitors will discover the patterns, waves, ratios, variables, and measurement that exist in all music. Visitors experience a motion activated dance party area, musical chairs, and more!

 Features

  • Strobe Speaker uses a strobe light to highlight a sound wave as it moves through the water.  By adjusting the frequency knob, guests can change the pattern.
  • Hammock Chimes are sure to be an instant favorite. Guests take a seat in one of the hammocks chairs, moving different directions and speeds to hear new tones.
  • The Math + Music exhibit will help visitors build processing skills critical to today’s world—creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.
