Director of Education
The Director of Education provides oversight of the development, creation, implementation, and evaluation of the museum’s dynamic, high quality programs of fun and engaging science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) and Health and Wellness based learning experiences. This position works collaboratively across the museum to execute the strategic plan of the museum.
The Museum Educator will teach playful, stimulating, and hands-on STEAM/Health & Wellness classes to children and families at Discovery Lab and in a variety of settings around the Tulsa area. The Museum Educator will teach others to be innovative, creative, critical thinkers, problem solvers, communicators, and collaborators.
Public Relations and Marketing Manager
The Public Relations and Marketing Manager will play a critical role in the strategic planning and growth of a new museum with the potential for a large community and regional impact. This is a tremendous opportunity for a leader to maximize and strengthen the internal capacity of a well-respected, high-impact organization during a time of expected growth.
Individual Giving Development Manager
Discovery Lab seeks an energetic and organized professional to serve as Individual Giving Development Manager (IGDM). The IGDM is an integral member of Discovery Lab’s fundraising and marketing efforts with specific responsibility for individual donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, as well as development events. The IGDM will develop and implement a strategic plan inclusive of annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, and work as a team with the grants manager and their corporate giving counterpart. Strong communication and relationship-building skills and a pleasant, positive rapport are necessary to communicate with donors, board members, and all internal departments.
Corporate Giving Development Manager
Discovery Lab seeks an energetic and organized professional to serve as Corporate Giving Development Manager (CGDM). The CGDM is an integral member of Discovery Lab’s fundraising and marketing efforts with specific responsibility for corporate and corporate foundation donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. The CGDM will develop and implement a strategic development plan to establish long term partnerships, strengthen existing relationships, and initiate new contacts within the corporate sector to increase corporate giving including corporate memberships and event and exhibit sponsorships. This position works as a team with the grants manager and their individual giving counterpart. Strong communication and relationship-building skills and a pleasant, positive rapport are necessary to communicate with donors, board members, and all internal departments.
The Exhibits Intern, in alignment with the internship learning goals, will complete a special project related to development, design, and/or fabrication of exhibits that will support and inform future projects for Discovery Lab.
Visitors Studies Intern
The Visitor Studies Intern, executes research, evaluation, and visitor studies to support and inform future projects for Discovery Lab.
