Weekend Floor Education Assistant
The Floor Education Assistant assists in facilitating programming for the visiting public, including schools, families, children, and adults. The typical work schedule for this job will be Saturday 9am -5:30pm and Sunday 11am – 5:30pm. Occasional after hours events are required.
Temporary Floor Education Assistant
The Floor Education Assistant assists in facilitating programming for the visiting public, including schools, families, children, and adults. This is a temporary, part-time position with availability Monday – Friday from 10 PM – 2 PM and occasional weekends.
Director of Exhibits
This is a senior-level position reporting to the Executive Director/CEO. The job requires previous experience in informal science education, exhibit development, staff management, project planning, and project management.
The Director of Exhibits oversees temporary and permanent exhibit development, design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance for Discovery Lab. The Director of Exhibits develops and monitors the annual exhibits budget, oversees exhibit production shop areas, and contracts with outside vendors as necessary. This position also provides oversight for facilities; ensuring that the museum is maintained, clean, and safe.
