All children visiting Discovery Lab must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older. For safety, we ask that all adult visitors supervise the children in their party. All adults visiting Discovery Lab must have a child in their group in order to enter.

ASSOCIATION OF CHILDREN’S MUSEUMS

If you are a visiting reciprocal program member from an Association of Children’s Museums member museum, you must present a current membership card from the ACM reciprocal institution with the ACM Reciprocal Network logo on the card. ACM reciprocity will grant a 50 percent discount on admission fees for up to six people. Please visit the ACM website for a complete list of participating museums.

ASSOCIATION OF SCIENCE-TECHNOLOGY CENTERS

If you are a visiting reciprocal program member from an Association of Science-Technology Centers Passport Program museum, you must present a current membership card from the ASTC reciprocal institution with the ASTC logo on the card. ASTC Passport Program reciprocity will grant free admission for up to 2 adults named on the membership card and up to 4 children in the same household. Please visit the ASTC Passport Program website for a complete list of participating museums.

DIRECTIONS

SOUTH TULSA: Take South Memorial Drive to US-64 West/169 North. Merge onto US-64/OK-51 West towards Sand Springs.

FROM DOWNTOWN TULSA: Take Denver Avenue north and turn west on Edison Street. The museum is two blocks west on your left.

HIGHWAYS 412/51/64: Take the Gilcrease Museum Road exit and travel north. At Edison Street turn east and travel to North Maybelle Avenue.

TULSA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: Follow all signs towards Tulsa/Sand Springs and take the Gilcrease Museum Road exit and travel north. At Edison Street turn east and travel to North Maybelle Avenue.



Discovery Lab is in Owen Park, conveniently located just northwest of downtown Tulsa with access to major highways. There is ample and adjacent free parking for cars and buses. Museum guests are invited to park in any designated Owen Park parking lots—located to the north and southeast of the museum. There is also open street parking on West Easton Place, wrapping around the east side of the museum.



Discovery Lab has limited its visitor capacity.

We encourage the purchase of tickets in advance online. Tickets will be available at the desk only if we have not reached capacity.

Effective August 4th, following guidance from the CDC and Tulsa Health Department, masks are required for all guests ages 9 and older . Masks are strongly encouraged for guests ages 2 to 8. The museum will continue to require masks for camp students while in the camp classroom annex.

Discovery Lab staff will continue wearing masks in public facing museum spaces.

Physical distancing cues will indicate spacing for the line entering the museum, and have been placed throughout the exhibit spaces.

Hand sanitizer stations have been placed throughout the museum.

Hospital-grade MERV-13 air filters have been installed.

Approved masks are provided to staff members.

FOOD

Discovery Lab does not currently have a space for guests to eat inside the museum. Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the picnic tables and open space just outside the museum in Owen Park.
